A neighbourhood pop-up from the Riverside Business Improvement Area offers a chance to discover Riverside, collect a free local guide and take part in a conditional instant-prize promotion.
The series is outside Glass House Garden Centre & Café at 771 Queen Street East, near the LOCAL sign at Queen Street East and Saulter Street. The remaining dates are Wednesday, October 21; Wednesday, October 28; and Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Each pop-up starts at 1 p.m. No finishing time has been announced. The outdoor activation is weather permitting.
Visitors can collect a complimentary printed Riverside Explore Guide about neighbourhood history, local businesses, public art, shopping, restaurants and community events. No purchase or newsletter subscription is stated as a condition for collecting the booklet. Copies are also available through participating Riverside businesses, so the guide is not exclusive to the pop-up. Event information and postcards are available subject to availability.
To qualify for the on-site instant prize-machine activity, visitors must complete one of these actions:
The organizer promotes an instant prize, but has not published the machine's prize inventory, values, total quantities, individual limits or full eligibility terms. This is a conditional offer, not an unconditional giveaway.
The Explore Guide includes a QR code to a separate raffle for local dining and retail gift cards. The entry deadline is November 15, 2026. This is a chance to win; gift cards are not guaranteed to entrants. Check the official entry form for complete rules and eligibility.
Outside Glass House Garden Centre & Café, 771 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario. Look for the LOCAL sign near Queen Street East and Saulter Street. The pop-up is outdoors and weather permitting; check the organizer's page for last-minute changes.
The [Riverside Halloween Fest](/halloween-guides/riverside-halloween-fest) is a separate event, not part of this pop-up series. The Riverside Holiday Market is also a separate event; use the [Toronto Holiday Markets guide](/holiday-markets) for its independent listing and schedule.
Admission to the pop-up and the printed Riverside Explore Guide are free, with no purchase requirement stated. Instant prize-machine participation requires raffle entry or on-site newsletter signup. The separate gift-card raffle is a chance to win, not a guaranteed gift.
