Toronto After Dark Film Festival returns for its 19th edition with five days of horror, sci-fi, action and cult cinema from October 14–18, 2026. The program features 14 feature premieres and 33 genre shorts, opening with the Canadian premiere of Whalefall, directed by Brian Duffield and starring Austin Abrams and Josh Brolin. Selected screenings will feature ScareScore, an audience-reaction experience that connects with participating viewers’ smartwatches and measures physical reactions during a film.
