About the event

Window Wonderland returns to Toronto's Junction from Friday, November 27, 2026 through Sunday, January 31, 2027. The free, self-guided outdoor exhibition is produced by The Junction BIA with Artivive and can be explored during the day or evening. The 2026/27 exhibition includes 32 augmented-reality installations: 20 new storefront window artworks and 12 year-round AR wall murals. This season's theme is Movement + Glimmers. The Junction BIA's current event page lists participating window partners and has published the exhibition map; its 2026/27 artist roster is still forthcoming. The painted works can be viewed in the neighbourhood. To see the animated augmented-reality layer, download the free Artivive app and scan participating windows or murals. A compatible smartphone is needed for AR; mobile data charges may apply. The BIA does not publish one set of daily hours for every installation, and individual storefronts may have their own conditions. There is no general admission ticket. This is a neighbourhood-wide outdoor walk centred around Dundas Street West, not an indoor venue with one entrance. Use the official exhibition map to find the current locations. Winter weather, snow or ice, sidewalks and street crossings can affect the walk; contact The Junction BIA for route-specific accessibility information. WTFToronto's 45–90 minute suggestion is an estimate for a casual walk, not an official tour duration. Allow more time if you plan to explore many installations or stop at local businesses.

Participation: Download the free Artivive app before your visit to scan for animated AR. Check the Junction BIA's current map; storefront hours and outdoor conditions vary.
