Arrive 30 minutes before sunset and stand on the western arch of the bridge facing the lake. There's no obstruction to the west — just open water, sky, and the arches framing everything. It never fails. The TTC 501 Queen streetcar runs right along Lake Shore nearby, making this accessible without a car.
Getting there
Streetcar 501 Queen to Humber Loop (the western terminus). Walk south to Lake Shore Blvd and then west a few minutes to the bridge. By bike: the Martin Goodman Trail runs directly to the bridge.
