Churrasqueira Martins (1659 Dundas St W) does the best Portuguese chicken in Toronto — piri-piri marinated, wood-fire grilled, served with chips. The Dundas West stretch near Dufferin is also lined with vintage shops, tatty-beautiful murals, and cafés that feel like they belong in Lisbon circa 1985.

Subway to Dufferin (Line 2), then bus 29 Dufferin north to Dundas. Or streetcar 505 Dundas from the downtown core, westbound to Dufferin.
