Etobicoke's premium shopping destination with an excellent mix of luxury and mid-range retail. The recent expansion added Nordstrom (now Hudson's Bay) and completely transformed the centre. Great cinema attached for a full-day outing.

Why Visit
Sherway Gardens is where you’ll find some of Toronto’s best boutiques and department stores west of downtown, all under one roof. Shopping feels easy here thanks to wide walkways, excellent food options, and surprisingly chill vibes compared to busier city malls.
What Makes It Unique
Sherway Gardens stands out for its luxury shopping lineup combined with popular mid-range brands, something rarely found outside the downtown core. The newer wing is spacious and bright, and unlike Yorkdale, the crowds are (usually) manageable. Plus, the attached Cineplex VIP makes it a legit day trip.
CF Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke has transformed itself through a major expansion completed in 2016 from a tired regional mall into one of Toronto's genuinely worthwhile shopping destinations — a premium-oriented centre that now challenges Yorkdale for luxury density in the western city, while serving Etobicoke, Mississauga, and western Toronto with a more relaxed atmosphere than you find at any downtown shopping address.
The expansion brought a dramatically improved physical environment: a new wing with higher ceilings, better natural light, more open pedestrian flow, and anchor-quality stores including Nordstrom (which subsequently exited Canada) and a cluster of luxury and premium brands that hadn't previously been accessible in Etobicoke. The fashion offering now includes a full-scale Zara, H&M, Aritzia, Club Monaco, and various mid-range and aspirational brands alongside the more established luxury tenants. The Apple Store at Sherway is large and well-staffed.
The luxury tier at Sherway — Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, Coach, Hugo Boss — isn't as dense as Yorkdale, but the overall shopping experience is significantly more pleasant when you want to avoid the density and parking challenges of the 401/Allen interchange. Sherway's parking is enormous and generally easy to navigate. The QEW provides quick access from Mississauga and the western GTA, making Sherway the natural shopping destination for a large catchment area that would otherwise need to fight their way into the city.
Food options are good. A renovated food court with several quality tenants, the usual chain restaurants along the perimeter, and a convenient proximity to the Sherway Gardens strip mall outside (which has several well-regarded independent restaurants) give visitors multiple dining options. The area around Sherway is suburban commercial rather than urban, so the experience begins and ends in the parking lot — but within it, Sherway has done real work to create an attractive retail environment.
