Why Visit

If you've ever wanted to dangle off the edge of Toronto's skyline, this is your chance to step out—literally—over the city. The EdgeWalk lets you lean out 356m high with zero barriers, giving you a rush you won't get anywhere else.

What Makes It Unique

Unlike Toronto's other observation decks or rooftop patios, EdgeWalk is the only experience where you're harnessed outside the building, circling the CN Tower’s crown in the open air. Nowhere else in Canada (or the hemisphere) lets you walk hands-free at this altitude, and the adrenaline factor is unmatched by glass floors or lookouts.

The CN Tower EdgeWalk is the world's highest hands-free external walk on a building — a 30-minute guided experience that takes participants around the exterior of the CN Tower's main pod at 356 metres (1,168 feet) above the ground. Participants are secured in a full-body harness attached to an overhead rail system, allowing them to lean out over the edge with nothing but air between them and the city 116 floors below.

The experience is less frightening than most people expect — the harness system is completely secure, and the guide provides constant reassurance and encouragement. Participants walk the full circumference of the pod, stopping at several points for photos and the signature "lean out" moment where they extend their body over the edge. The views are extraordinary: the entire GTA spreads out in every direction, and on clear days you can see Niagara Falls and the distant shores of New York State. The experience includes a video and photo package. Weight and height restrictions apply; closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Booking in advance is essential, particularly in summer.
