Bike at The Bentway is a free fall cycling program at The Bentway Skate Trail, 250 Fort York Boulevard. The organizer lists Sunday sessions on October 18, October 25 and November 1, 2026. The October 18 session had passed when this listing was checked on October 20. The program is a community cycling education and basic bicycle maintenance pilot with Ecomotion and Fix Coffee + Bikes.

Each lesson is standalone; there is no requirement to attend all dates. Use the official Eventbrite page to check current registration instructions for each date. Status checked October 20, 2026: Eventbrite labels the October 25 date “High demand” and both lesson times “Going fast”; November 1 is marked “Sold out.” These labels are a dated snapshot, not a ticket count or guarantee—check Eventbrite for the latest status. The repair clinic is drop-in and separate from lesson registration.
All participants must sign a waiver. Participants under 18 must attend with a legal guardian, and children aged 16 and under require active adult supervision throughout the program. Arrive before the lesson starts for check-in and safety instructions; late arrivals 15 minutes after the session begins may be unable to join.
Participants may bring their own bicycle and suitable safety gear. Six program bicycles are available across the program, but sizes, allocation and availability for an individual session are not confirmed. A bicycle is not guaranteed for every registrant. The organizer has not confirmed helmet loans.
The 3:30–4:30 p.m. clinic offers basic maintenance guidance, including flat tires and simple brake or gear adjustments. It is not an unlimited repair service: complex repairs may be referred to Fix Coffee + Bikes at its Gladstone location. Free replacement parts, tires, tubes, tune-ups and guaranteed repair completion are not confirmed.
The event is at The Bentway Skate Trail, 250 Fort York Boulevard, Toronto, not The Bentway Studio at 55 Fort York Boulevard or the separate Strachan Gate location. The Bentway recommends the 511 Bathurst streetcar at Fort York Boulevard or the 509 Harbourfront streetcar at Fleet Street; check TTC service and detours before travelling. Bike racks are available, and the site connects to Toronto's cycling network. Nearby Bike Share stations are not free rentals.
Paid Green P parking is listed at 250 Fort York Boulevard and 800 Fleet Street. The Skate Trail has flat paved and wooden-decked surfaces accessible to mobility devices, but adapted cycling equipment for this program is not confirmed. Contact The Bentway about specific accommodations. Published Sunday washroom hours are 1–8 p.m., subject to event-specific changes.
The program is outdoors beneath the Gardiner Expressway. No guaranteed indoor weather location or detailed cancellation policy is published; check organizer updates before travelling. No dates after November 1 have been announced.
